Giving Hearts Foundation, LLC has been created to assist not-for-profits with fundraising through, but not limited to, an online auction through www.givinghearts.net. GHF's CEO and Founder is Linda Pope, who has worked on hundreds of charity endeavors as a volunteer. She saw an opportunity to use the web as a vehicle to synergistically house a continual auction for the benefit of various charities, as well as provide educational opportunities for their many causes.
GHF's mission statement is "A Passion for Humanity". Each time giving is done from the heart to a charitable need, multiple rewards are realized. The recipient gains and the donor grows.
Giving Hearts' philosophy is based on the nature that buyers get something they need, wish to give, or keep, while their transaction gives something that is for keeps.
Thank you for your interest in the Giving Hearts Foundation and its online auction. Because of the generous donations of individuals and companies, GHF has been able to create the incredible auction packages that are highlighted on this site.
Giving Hearts Auction is unique in several ways:
It benefits many charities at the same time.
It is global and reaches more than one room filled with X number of people at a single event.
The advertising value to the sponsors providing items is far reaching and they are given hyperlinks to their own web sites.
People who bid online remain anonymous. What they buy is not printed in the social section of the newspaper. However, if they would like the exposure as a donor, their name can be posted by the item purchased.
Sponsors who provide gifts to the site can track its value within multiple in-house departments: marketing, advertising, community outreach, etc. Any item or package given receives full tax credit from the charity receiving it. Even if the final bidder "acquires a deal" in the transaction, the auction donor receives full tax credit for the actual retail value, as well as full advertising exposure to a global market.
The givinghearts.net auction bidder may feel a desire for several of the items up for bid, but is not as greatly affected by the "passion of the moment" bidding that may cause later regret. Bidders may shop, visit hyperlinks and become more informed, and make a well thought through decision.
